The Prefecture of Chios approved 2 road work projects for the improvement of the main road between Chios - Kardamyla. The estimated cost of the project is € 13,050,000. Read more in ChiosPress

The end of the Municipality of Kardamyla.
The proposed legislation to re-organize the local goverment in Greece, known as the "Kalikratis" plan, will replace all the municipalities of the island with a single municipality based in the city of Chios. Oinouses and Psara will continue to be municipalities on their own. Read more in Alithia.gr
